As a general note, the following quests may or may not concur precisely with current lore and game events. What may be happening in game may or may not have an effect on the quest write-ups. As such, all quest write-ups are written using the current state of the game for basis. Revisions may be made (for example- I recently revised the Barbs of Might Quest).
These quests are not about creating the most uber item available. They are not about obscenely overpowerful weapons. They are about following the quest principles Turbine themselves set. As a general rule, Quest Items should not be better than Loot-o-matic.
I also really like Gimmic Items. Trinkets that do something special. Many of my quest write-ups will include gimmic items, such as weapons with special abilities, unheard of spells, etc.
